Security Policy
Jack Sim Publications considers the safeguarding of your financial and personal information as one of our most important priorities. All data sent between your computer and our server is automatically encrypted.
Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 128-bits which is the highest level commercially available. Physical and logical access to the server which processes these transactions is heavily secured.
Jack Sim Publications employs a “Digital Certificate” which ensures that you are dealing with our bookings website “jacksim.com.au” and only this site.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as completely secure. So while we strive to protect such information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.
Once your personal information comes into our possession, we will take reasonable steps to protect that information from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
All your transactions with Jack Sim Publications are conducted in 'secure sessions' using the financial industry's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) standards with 128-bit encryption. You should check that your browser is compatible with SSL encryption. This is often indicated by a 'closed lock' icon at the bottom of your screen (Internet Explorer 6) or the top of your screen (Internet Explorer 7).
For security purposes, during a transaction Jack Sim Publications collects the following information:
- Your Name
- Your Address Details including post code
- Your Telephone Number
- Your internet connection’s Internet Protocol address
We do not store your credit card number, CCV or expiry details – this information is used once only while we authorise the transaction – they are not stored anywhere on the server.
